Continuing on the theme of chavs, drugs and general ignorance, I’d like to address the issue of the way that the badly behaved, frankly, less intelligent pupils in school get more of the staff’s attention than those who are well behaved and are of a higher intelligence than most. Me and some of my friends come into the latter category. I don’t want to sound like I’m boasting or anything, but we are bright children and deserve the opportunities just as much, if not more, than these children who couldn’t care less about their future or their careers. Some people say that because some children come from less-privileged backgrounds, they turn to bad behaviour to seek attention. This is rubbish. You cannot trust anything that comes out of these experts’ mouths. They do not know what makes children do vandalism and other things like that until they have spent a considerable amount of time inside a school which is at the rougher end of the spectrum. I am not from a privileged background, neither are my closest friends, yet we don’t stand on street corners drinking and smoking every night. It is not where the pupil is from, nor their wealth which contributes towards their behaviour, it is there personal choice. Nobody forces these people to be violent or get high, they do it of their own accord and I cannot fathom why the government and schools are putting so much time and effort into trying to fix them when they could be spending funds and time on the children who want to achieve and who want to learn at school. These are the people who are going to build a better Britain, not illiterate drunkards.
School: My verdict pt. 2
December 19, 2007School: My verdict
November 24, 2007Hey, me again.
As a teenage tearaway, I am forced to go to the hellhole which is my school from Monday-Friday, 8.45pm – 3.00pm. I think it is quite necessary to inform you of the treatment that children of ages 11-16 endure whilst at school, as I think the government covers a hell of a lot of it up. You probably think that I am just a whiney 13 year old that doesn’t know how good they’ve got it. I know how good I have it, and I appreciate that but sometimes school is just an unpleasant place to be, which if the local council or the government spent some time or money on, would be a heck of a lot more pleasant.
The ‘chavs’ walk around school thinking that they own the place, thinking that they are superior to everyone else inside the building. Unless you have been hiding inside a dark cae for the past 5 years, then you will know that a ‘chav’ is a colloquial term for an uneducated, highly ignorant member of society who some people refer to as ‘yobs’. These people are the people who are always involved in these gang shootings or stabbings and murders. They are not brave or clever for being involved in these so called gangs, they are just stupid children. They may think they are all grown up and adult for being inolved in all these violent gangs, but they are not adults, they are simply children.
Anyway, back to school life. Sorry if I sometimes deviate from the matter at hand, but I simply can not help it, I’m easily distracted! Back to the topic.
One day at school, I was walking into the building, and stood just around the corner from the main entrance were around six or seven guys, about 15 I’d say, sharing a few spliffs (marijuana). Being from one of the roughest schools in my area, I recognised the unbearable stench of the drug immediately. I stopped and glanced at the guys, who by this point were already high from the drug, and hadn’t even noticed the girl stood watching them unabashedly smoke this illegal substance.
Not wanting to be confronted by the group of boys, I dashed into school, the smell of the marijuana still lingering slightly on my coat. I rushed into the toilets and pulled out a bottle of bodyspray from my schoolbag, spraying my coat liberally with it.
I sat down next to my friend in the lesson that I was late for, whispering furiously into her ear, retelling that morning’s events. She turned to me with a pitying look upon her face, she informed me that weed (marijuana) was rife in our school, along with many other drugs. I could scarcely believe my ears. Drugs? In our quiet little school? Drugs were something that happened in the big, inner-city schools. Not my school. No.
Anyway, rant over…for now.
Expect part 2 fairly soon.

Hello Pilgrims =]
November 22, 2007Hey, xbleedingx here! Well, I’ve never had a blog before and I must say i find it rather liberating. I got the whole idea from a book I read called Kiss & Blog, but let’s not get into that now. I just find it cool that you can tell the world how you feel about something or someone and chances are they will never find out but you feel like you have got it off of your chest. Or is that just me being silly? Yeah? Thought so.
Anyways, this is just an introductory thing, the basics, you know the drill.
xbleedingx, 13, Yorkshire, Proud geek, HP addict, FanFiction also cool.
Thanks for noticing me, not many people do.
Au revoir x.x
